Yee Man Ng, MA

Welcome! I am Yee Man, a researcher at Leiden University, within the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS). In 2024, I received my Research Masters in Human Language Technology from the Computational Linguistics and Text Mining Lab (CLTL) at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

I currently work together with Bram van Dijk, Marco Spruit, and Max van Duijn, and the team of Healthy Chronos, on the Healthy Chronos app. This app supports cancer patients in recovery by providing insights into how daily activities can influence their mood and symptoms. My main focus is on leveraging large language models in combination with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) to generate personalized summaries and relevant health advice.

My research interests lie in the fields of Natural Language Processing, Computational Linguistics, and Digital Humanities.

In my spare time, I enjoy crocheting, gaming, taking long walks, singing, and hanging out with friends.
